Lot - Maggot Road 13 apartments

A common way of living in Scandinavian cities is to live in one of these 19th century apartment buildings. It is a relatively inexpensive and social way of city living, enjoyable and practical. Some buildings are beautifully decorated, and some more simple, but still colorful and charming, like this one.

Lot - Victorian 1899 Remake

My sims family just love their Victorian House from 1899, but it was totally outdated and unpractical for modern life. So they refurbished it! It took some time and money, but the result is a modern, functional and spacious family home. Of course some details and furniture from the past has been carefully restored and saved.

Lot - Home Sweet Home Jenny

I’m sure you have a lot of great houses in your game, one more fantastic than the other. But don't you miss the “House next door”? In this series you will find down-to-earth, simple houses, that resembles houses in the real world. To a large extent they are based on existing houses in Norway.

Lot - Miss Marple's Cottage

Marple's Cottage is, of course, the home of Miss Jane Marple, the famous detective. Here she enjoys her lovely garden, her books and frequent visits from the ladies of the village. But you can of course move in any family you like, the cottage is suitable for a family of four.

Lot - Christmas Victorian Blue tit

"Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas..." So will the Sims. In this spacious house the whole family is looking forward to it, especially the four children. The Sims are not any different from us humans in this matter! But then of course, when the holidays are over, it should be quite easy for you to rearrange the house for every day life for your family. Remove the Christmas tree and the other Christmas items and voila! There is a comfortable mansion available for you and your Sims!

Lot - Christmas Victorian Yellowhammer

"I'm dreaming of a white Christmas..." I bet the Sims do too.  Since this lot originally was made before the Seasons EP,  the climate in the Sims world was very stabile, and winter was not an option. At least not without cheating... You can find this lot it in two versions; with or without "snow". The snowy version has a slightly adjusted garden, and you will need the white terrainpaint marked * in the list of cc. The interior is the same. Please read also the gameplay notes below.

Lot - Christmas Market

One of the most effective ways of getting into the Christmas spirit is to visit the local Christmas market. The Sims are no different. At their local market the kids can play with their friends, while mom and dad does some gift shopping (well, not really, but at least they can admire the stuff on display). Then of course they can have some mulled wine at the little bar, even though the barman might call it something else. You will find some good quality Christmas trees there (not for purchase) but the greatest of them all, obviously, is in the middle of the square.

Lot - Kefalonian Summer Thetis

The Greek island of Kefalonia is famous for it's lovely beaches and spectacular scenery, and of course from the novel and film "Captain Corelli's Mandolin". Many of us have the dream of the good and simple life in a Greek village. I believe this goes for the sims too, so I've made a few houses for them, based on real houses in Kefalonia. Check Kefalonia or Greek style for similar lots.

Lot - Norwegian Wood Klepp

Building your dream home in a mountain landscape is not easy. The rocky hills and many small streams are challenges for housebuilders, but it also has a magnetic beauty. It was common in Norway to build the houses half hidden into the hill, this gave good protection of wind and snow.

Lot - Victorian House Anno 1894

I find the Victorian Style so attractive, and I can’t get enough of these old houses in my neighborhood. This elegant building from 1894 will easily house a family of four, even if the size is quite moderate. The large outdoor area gives the children plenty of room to play, and it even has a small fruit and vegetable garden.

Lot - Village Froya House

This old Scandinavian farmhouse has been modernized to fit the standards of a family of today. Fortunately the mother in the family is an interior designer, and knew exactly how to balance between the charming old house and a contemporary style. She has, of course, her own studio and office on the first floor.
The house would be suitable for any small family, but especially those with two boys would feel that it is perfect for them. And if anyone likes fishing, they would be thrilled to spend their afternoons by the lovely pond...

Lot - Victorian House Anno 1899

This is an older upload and some CC are now outdated/unsupported. I will do some changes in-game and update this post - in the meantime: download at your own risk!

This house was made for a Victorian House Contest at Anno. I made a later, more modern and simplified  version: Victorian 1899 Remake.

Lot - Nordic Living Flo

This is an older upload and some CC are now outdated/unsupported. I will do some changes in-game and update this post - in the meantime: download at your own risk!

The Norwegian countryside had scarce resources and a harsh climate, and most houses were built in wood. Even today the Norwegians focus on protecting themselves from wind, snow and rain when they build their houses, but when you come inside their homes are warm and inviting. Flo (actually Flø in Norwegian) is a house for the young and wealthier part of Norwegians. Since it has no landscaping, no furniture and not even descent wallpaper, it is up to you to decorate it and make it a home for your family.
