The Old Button Factory

Lot - Circus Anno Showtime version

A night at the circus is great entertainment, and the sims just love it when Circus Anno comes to town! The performances are great, but it is even more exciting when the circus has "Open day" and your sims can walk around exploring the settlement and animals. They might even try to stand in the center of the menage themselves - and for a moment feel how it is to be one of the artists. Not to mention that it is a colourful and intriguing element in the town, with its bright colours and unusual people.

Sim - The guests at the Inn

A good place to study human nature would be at the hotels and pensions around the world. No exception for the Inn of St. Mary Mead, there are some very exceptional people staying there.

Lot - Mulled Wine Inn

This little B&B gives shelter to every tourist and temporary guest in St. Mary Mead. At the moment most of the rooms are taken by the film crew that is visiting, shooting the new film of Marina Gregg. It is family-run, and has rooms of different sizes and standard. The food is good, but even better is the famous mulled wine, served every evening in the little bar by the reception. But just one glass per customer!

Sim - The Spenlow Family

At first glance one would never think that this couple would be able to share their life happily together. They are so different in taste and personality, but there still are similarities. Mrs Spenlow has been married several times. She has more experience in life than most, and consider herself very lucky to be able to live a "boring" life. Mr Spenlow also had enough drama in his life, and after experiencing bankruptcy, he appreciates to the full the comfortable life his wife's money brings. Unfortunately more dramatic events are to hit them both. But that's another story.

Lot - Spenlow's Cottage

The Spenlows came quite late in life to St. Mary Mead. They wanted to escape from their hectic life in London, and rather live a good, peaceful life in the country, taking care of their garden and the flower shop, and, of course, relaxing and playing domino. There is no better place than St. Mary Mead for doing just that!

Lot - The Prison

Criminals should not be left unpunished, and the council in St. Mary Mead decided that one way the prisoners could give something back to society and serve their time at the same time, would be to recycle the village junk. (Hence, the prison is defined as a junk yard.) Some prisoners can even make really valuable things from what others through away.

Sim - Mr Lawrence Redding

Mr Lawrence Redding is the classic womanizer. He flirts and impose any woman, at all times, without scruples. Scandals follow his footsteps, and this is not very attractive, it's actually quite outrageous. And still, there is something very charming about the man. ;)

Lot - Mr Redding's Cottage

Mr Redding's Cottage is so small that he can barely work as an artist, so when he has larger work in process he goes to his friends at the vicarage to get space. Nevertheless, it is a fully functional home with all the necessities, and a convenient place for his more or less secretive entertaining of the village women.

Sim - Miss Amanda Hartnell

Amanda Hartnell is a no-nonsense woman, loved by most, but feared by some. She has the habit of telling the truth, no matter the cost. That can be very annoying for those who have something to hide, but is the exact reason why others hold her so highly. Amanda talks with everybody, but has just a few close friends, one of them being Miss Marple.

Lot - The Florist

At The Florist the villagers can get some beautiful plants or practical tools for their gardens, or admire the fantastic flower arrangements that the owner Mrs. Spenlow make in the workshop upstairs. Next door there is a small travel agency (the travel agent lives conveniently upstairs, by the way), who has tickets for long distance travels. But most sims come in just to dream about the exotic places while reading the brochures.
(In truth, they can't buy a thing anyway - the lot is purely for socializing and decorative purposes.)

Lot - Mrs Lestrange's cottage

Mrs. Lestrange is a mysterious woman, but she is in St. Mary Mead for a very particular reason. She has a very special bond with .... eh, let's keep it a secret, for now. When not in St. Mary Mead she loves to travel, and nobody knows how long she will stay in the village. And you could of course move in another family, the house is suitable for three.
